Gift is an award winning filmmaker and a director of photography. In pursuit of her ambitions to become a storyteller, Gift gradated with a degree in Communications and Journalism with a minor in African American and Diaspora studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in August of 2023.

Gift specializes in hyperlocal storytelling, providing a collaborative space for the client/subject to become part of the creative process. She has worked on stories from branded documentaries for UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work to award winning documentaries, including “Total Inclusion,” a documentary taking place on San Cristóbal in the Galápagos Islands about a family and their fight address the lack of disability access.

Most recently, she’s worked on a film entitled “Echoes Unheard” where an entrepreneur and a professor fight to keep the legacy of the nation’s largest Black-owned life insurance company.

Gift is based in Raleigh, NC.

In her free time, she enjoys photography, attending film festivals, and spending time with family.
